Returns Policy

Seller return policy

When you purchase from a seller responsible for fulfilling and shipping their inventory, please be aware that your return will be directed to the seller, not The Part Market. Prior to making a purchase, review the seller's return policy on the Returns and Refunds Policy section of the seller profile page. When making a return, enclose the correct and complete item, preferably using the original box for re-shipping. A refund requires the correct item to be returned.

To protect our sellers and customers, The Part Market disposes of incorrect/mistaken returns. If you accidentally sent an incorrect item to The Part Market, contact Customer Service promptly. While we cannot guarantee retrieval and return of your item, no compensation is provided for any incorrectly/mistakenly disposed returns.

If you've purchased an item by mistake and seek a return, please request a return via the platform. The item must be returned in its original condition to receive a full refund. Disputes need to be actioned within 14 days of receipt.

The Part Fits Program

Our Returns Policy, integrated into The Part Fits Program, aims to enhance trust and ensure compatibility. To facilitate returns for products that do not fit your vehicle as expected, kindly adhere to the following conditions:

Confirmation of Fitment

Eligibility for a return requires prior confirmation of your vehicle's details with VIN or through a manual process before completing the checkout and payment. If fitment was not confirmed beforehand, you are not covered under our returns policy and will bear the responsibility for the return cost.

Return request

If the item does not fit your vehicle, you can initiate a return request using the "Doesn't fit my vehicle" reason within 30 days of receiving the item.

Return Label

Upon the seller's confirmation of the return, we will provide you with a return label at no charge to the seller.

Exceptions to Note

International Shipping

Our services presently cater to the US, and we only accept returns for items shipped within the US.
Oversized/Freight Items:
Returns for items shipped using a Domestic Freight Carrier due to their size or exceeding a specific weight threshold are not covered by our returns policy.

Fitment Data Exclusions

Items lacking fitment data, such as universal products and parts, are ineligible for return under The Part Fits Program.

In instances where a return label is unavailable, the buyer is responsible for returning the item at their own expense. Approved returns must be sent to the seller using a trackable shipping service. If a package does not arrive and no tracking number was provided for the return, or if the shipment is refused, a refund may not be feasible.

Customised Products

For customized products involving configurations or personalizations, please take note of the following:

Notification to the Seller

Inform the seller within 30 days of receiving the item for a return.

Seller Discretion

Due to personal configurations the seller is not obligated to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged/defective upon arrival or significantly different from what was ordered.

Seller Error

In the case of error in configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the seller, you are entitled to request a return.

Return Requirements

Ensure all product packaging (such as boxes) and applicable certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal are returned with the item. Products missing applicable tags are not acceptable for return.
